Troop 77 Rules

A Scout's standing not only depends upon his skills, rank advancement and merit badges, but also upon the spirit in his heart and the way he lives the Scout Oath and Law. We expect the Scouts to adhere to the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. We understand that young men in the 11-18 year range will be active, but deliberate deviation from the Scout Oath and Law will not be tolerated. This is a no tolerance policy.

Boy scouting is a uniformed organization that promotes the merits of Pride, Spirit and Unity through correct and appropriate wearing of the uniform. Any scout who cannot afford a uniform is encouraged to speak with the troop committee chairperson for help.

Scout spirit also will be graded on attendance at meetings and Scout functions. If a Scout wants to advance in rank he has to attend at least 1 meeting a month and go on at least 3 campouts a year.

Permission Forms & Fees

Each Scout is required to turn in a parent signed permission form prior to going on each campout or other Troop Sponsored function. This form can be turned in just before departure on a campout.

Cost for campouts is generally $10.00 per Scout, adult, and visitor. A Scout, parent, or visitor must pay their campout fee no later than the Monday preceding the campout or they will not be allowed to attend the campout. All payments made for campouts are non-refundable.
